Description

Old school technology, futuristic performance.

The lightspeed-progression of freestyle skiing means that skiers are demanding more and more of their equipment. Line answers this demand for more durable freestyle skis with the Afterbang. Designers threw away everything they knew about ski construction and turned to action-sports' most respected and most durable construction-the skateboard deck. the 7-ply maple veneer layout is ultra-strong without weighing a ton.

Steezy ski

I bought these skis afraid that I would be limited only to park... I was wrong, the afterbang is a ski that is geared towards park, but it does great out on regular trails. It even preformed well in powder too. Bottom line, it is a great ski for the price.

I suggest the marker griffon binding... Many of line's pro skiers use them..

Im 5 feet 6 and a half inches and way 157 pounds, should i buy the 166 or the 177, i spend almost all of my time in north carolina terrain parks and dont go west to often.

Responded on

At 5'6" at your weight and the use, I suspect you want a 166 for the maneuverability and ease of spinning. If you get west, rent some high performance demos if you get snow.

would saloman bindings be ok for afterbangs? i cant afford marker bindings

Responded on

for sure! i have had solly's on my last 3 pairs of skis and loved them!

I would go with look, dynastar, or rossignol. All are the same esentially but dynastars can be found on another sight for much cheaper than looks and rossi's. All have much more travel in the heel piece. Much better quality
