Never would hold a charge

I got this product in the mail and the first thing I noticed was the seal was broken on the box as it it had been opened before. I plugged it in to charge for about 8 hours but the light would never turn on. The low battery indicator would just flash. I switched chargers and cables just to make sure the problem was with the light not the charger or cable. Even still the charge indicator would only blink red. I tried to call light and Motions customer service and they weren?t accepting calls. Not impressed
