The Life-Link Speed Probe 300 is part of the Life-Link's Pro Series probes. Super fast set-up saves valuable seconds. The new speed bullet points on section ends quickly align for lightning-fast set-up. Life-Link's Pro Series Auto-Locking Tension system allows the probe to assemble quickly. Get it? This probe is fast. The Quick Release button keeps the probe secure during use and allows the probe to break down in seconds. Made of lightweight, strong 7075 aluminum. The probe has a 6 foot mark to allow the user to guage the probe depth. The packed length is 16in. -Vendor

Luckily I haven't had to use this, except for practice. Its super easy to use, and a good length. I tried using a shovel with the probe stored in the handle, and decided that its much easier to just have your probe separate. Add this to your avy gear collection, you'll be glad you did.
