The Life-Link Carbon Fiber Speed Pro Probe 280 has an auto-locking system and professional grade Quickdraw Tension System making it easy to operate with gloves. There are 10 cm marks along the length of the shaft to gauge snowpack, and it is a full 3 meters in length for professional use.

This probe is easy to use and can be extended fairly quickly. It is super strong as well. I took a huge fall on it and it survived unscathed. It is a super lightweight probe that is easy to pack away and at the same time easy to expand and use.
