Life-Link created the Women’s Edelweiss Ski/Probe Pole for aggressive women looking for an adjustable ski pole. Convert to an avalanche probe in 30 seconds but we don’t recommend that you replace your probe-These work but a longer probe is better. Ten inches of adjustability allow you to find the sweet spot for your alpine adventures.
Bottom Line: It’s all about adjustability.

Like these poles so far. They are light weight, seem sturdy, and adjust well. The only problem I've had is collapsing issues when I plant too hard, or hit something solid (rock). I'll work on this and see what happens. It could be I'm just not getting it tight enough. Very satisfied over all.
Just guessing but maybe smaller grips, shorter length, and of course it's named after a flower.

Just got back from a two weeks trip in Europe with these poles. They do the job well, they are lightweight and adjustable. I am a man and I used them as well.
