20K-rated performance waterproofing (and matching 20K breathability), along with zonal Thinsualte insulation, make the The Lib Tech Wayne Jacket worthy of riding the wet and heavy storm systems of the Pacific Northwest. But the Wayne isn't all beast-mode all the time; this weather-repelling piece of armor is gentle on Mother Nature, as it is constructed from 100% recycled polyester. Party on, Wayne.

  • Come rain, sleet, or snow, the Wayne Jacket is equipped with 20K-rated waterproof material to shrug off moisture and keep your session unsaturated
  • Fully taped seams seal out moisture along all stitching throughout the jacket
  • Bemis seam-tape reinforcement prevents the tape from delaminating by applying a high-tech thermoplastic adhesive film over all taping, also reinforcing seams against leaky stitching
  • Zonally insulated with 60g fill in the body and 40g in the sleeves for a blend of light & mid-weight warmth
  • Dually adjusting hood cinches down snug and keeps vision clear in all directions
  • Ventilated high-collar design with microfleece backing acts like a built-in face mask that won't leave your goggles fogged over
  • Aquaguard zippers are highly water-resistant for extra protection
  • Slanted venting allows for ergonomic functionality that won't get in the way of a backpack's harness
  • Zipper pull doubles as a whistle to signal for help or just make music for people you don't know on the chairlift
  • Lycra ninja cuff keeps snow and wind out of your sleeve and is thin for layering under your glove
  • Fixed Lycra powder skirt secures around your waist to keep snow out without prohibiting mobility
  • Storm jacket-to-pant connection system adjoins to corresponding Storm system pants

Put up, or shut up!

The title of this review says it all. If you want a sick jacket then this jacket has your name written all over it. Lib Tech kills it when it comes to outerwear. The only other company that even rivals them would be Volcom. There are so many technical features about the Wayne jacket that every time I put it on I find something new and exciting. The built in face mask keeps your face nice and toasty on your first pow run of the morning. Sweating like a pig? Unzip those pit zips and air yourself out. Don't forget to attach your jacket to your pants so no snow creeps down your ass. Nothing worse than getting swamp ass on a pow day and having to run to your car to change your boxers. This jacket will keep you warm and dry in any conditions considering it has a rating of 20k/20k. Bang for your buck you can't touch a jacket from any other company. If what I just said hasn't convinced you to buy this jacket then shut up and buy a Burton jacket!

Is this jacket worth the extra cash or should I stick with the Sessions Iso Insulated Jacket?

Hey Treyton, it's really up to you but here are the features you get with the Lib Tech Wayne over the Sessions Iso:

    -20k waterproofing over Iso's 15k (20k is a HUGE upgrade over 15k).
-20k breathability over Iso's 10k, way more breathable.
-fully taped seams, Iso's are critically taped.
-way better styling in my opinion.
-laser cut vent holes in the collar.
    -recycled materials.
    -more pockets.
    -WAAAY better styling.
