Lib Tech made the TRS XC2-BTX Narrow Snowboard for all the groms, ladies, and dudes with smaller feet who rip the entire mountain harder than the big guys. The narrow waist accommodates smaller boots and lighter riders, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's any less packed with technology than it's wider cousin. This all-mountain freestyle ripper was designed to take on the entire mountain, from the park to the peak.

It features the innovative XC2-BTX profile, which has a shorter, but more aggressive rocker zone in the middle, with elongated camber zones running out to the tips. This results in greater power, pop, and control on hardpack without sacrificing float in powder. Magne-Traction edges create seven different points of contact along each edge to help the board slice through ice likes it's fresh corduroy.

A true twin shape and centered stance makes it easier to take off and land switch, whether it's in the park or powder. Feel good when you drop in knowing that this board was built using sustainable manufacturing techniques and materials. A blend of aspen and Colombian Gold wood in the core makes it strong, snappy, and lightweight, and the wood comes from fast-growing, sustainably harvested trees so you're not contributing to the destruction of the rainforests. Basalt reduces the amount of fiberglass needed without sacrificing strength to give you a better board that's less harmful to the planet.

Help....
I'm a 42 yearold boarder stuck between purchasing the Never Sommer Aura or the Lib Tech TRS XC2 BTX.
My stats:
Pushed to ride hard by the boys & more experienced riders
Coming off a 2 year sabatical and could hang
Weakness is powder & trees
Want a board that is more effortless as I am old and STILL trying to hang with the boys
In the past I usually bought long stiff boards
Looking at more all mountain to broaden my horizons because my brain still wants to do it all

Your suggestion between the two boards?
