TRS XC2 BTX HP Snowboard

Powerful snap, lightweight feel, and sustainable construction make the Lib Tech TRS XC2 BTX HP Snowboard a prodigious all-terrain freestyle chariot. Ridden by the likes of Sammy Luebke and Eric Jackson, this snowboard is currently advancing the limits of modern freestyle riding. Crush steep headwalls, huck backcountry cliffs, and launch enormous park jumps with poise and style. The TRS XC2 BTX HP shows no mercy to intimidating terrain and bites down upon hardpack with serrated Magne-Traction edges. Built upon the TRS's award-winning shape, this board is similar to the original TRS, but it uses eco-friendly Horsepower construction for increased snap and weight reduction.

A true twin shape is paired with Lib Tech's innovative rocker/camber hybrid, XC2 BTX, to deliver a combination of unprecedented power and float. XC2 BTX pairs lengthened, aggressive camber underfoot with a shorter, tight-radius rocker between your feet. The end result is added stability, power, and bite when it's charging over a variety of terrain surfaces. In addition to added power, the shorter, tight-radius rocker provides great float when it's tracking through deep, untouched powder.

Inside this board, a strong and lightweight Columbian Gold core is composed of long-grained, sustainably farmed wood. Harnessing the power of volcanoes, basalt fiber reinforcements replace traditional fiberglass. Swapping out fiberglass for basalt eliminates toxic manufacturing processes, and it does so without sacrificing strength or response. A Bio-Plastic beans top sheet is used in lieu of petroleum-based plastics. This cutting-edge, organic material boasts the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any top sheet in the snowboard industry. Additional important details include the use of double sintered UHMW sidewalls for long-lasting durability and a TNT base for fast glide and easy maintenance.
