Description

The TRS C2-BTX is a BAMF.

The Lib Tech TRS C2-BTX Snowboard continues its legacy of all-mountain freestyle domination thanks to continuing testing and input from Sammy Leubke, Blair Habenicht, Erik Jackson, and Martin Cernik, With a little help from the C2-BTX rocker and camber hybrid profile that combines easy-turning, floaty rocker between the feet with camber towards the end for stability and control on big landings and sketchy terrain, the TRS delivers you to powder-filled gulches and gigantic park features—and back.

  • C2-BTX blends a rockered mid-section with a reactive camber underfoot so the board is both powerful and playful
  • Magnetraction edges deliver reliable grip on hardpack and ice
  • Basalt and fiberglass hybrid-glass drastically reduces the weight of typical fiberglass by infusing it with eco-friendly and lightweight basalt
  • Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls work behind the scenes to increase durability by supporting the sidewall from the inside out
  • Colombian Gold core is farmed from sustainable forests and engineered to be light, poppy, and awesome
  • Twin geometry rides evenly both ways, delivering a skate-like feel designed for all terrain
  • TNT base utilizes a Teflon-infused base for durability and so you can haul ballz through the season with little maintenance

Great, fun board

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board can tear up the mountain. From tight tree action to deep pow pow to charging down the mountain, this board kicks ass.

THE board

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Perfect all around shred machine.

After 17 years of riding standard camber shapes, the Power BTX is FOR REAL. So lively edge to edge, which means spinning off kickers is much easier because you can really dig in at the take-off, and go from toe to heel (and vice versa) so quickly and effortlessly that it makes the prewind feel very natural.

Camber under your feet is incredible, almost feels like the board sucks to the snow upon landing (in a good way). Never stomped so many landings with ease, specifically those where you're slightly squirrelly and you don't come down on a perfectly flat base.

Magna-traction is FOR REAL. Solid edge hold on any sketchy surface. This tech is going NOWHERE.

Having said all that, this is probably not a great board for anyone under a solid intermediate level (easily hitting park jumps and able to bomb steeps with reckless abandon). The super-lively feel took some getting used to at first, and I can imagine someone with less control catching the occasional edge and slamming hard. The BTX combined with Magna-traction gives the board a LOOSE yet CATCHY feel. This is amazing if you have a high level of control, but if you're somewhat newish to bombing then you may want to reconsider this particular shape. It really is a shred machine, built for shredding.

(Not the best jib board, but it does the job.)

Hi im 5'8 and 176 lib an i want this board...

Hi im 5'8 and 176 lib an i want this board for all mountain board But i want to be playfull too sould i buy 154 or 157 thanks

Responded on

Luffy, with this board being a hybrid you should be ok with getting the 154cm. If you are wanting to do more backcountry/powder go with the 157cm.
hope this helps

Definitely A Total Ripper

I got the 157cm and love it. Best board I have riden and have no complaints. Rips everything from big park jumps to deep backcountry days. Practically rides itself

Does what it's made to do

No snowboard is going to be perfect for everything, but this board definitely comes close. Whether you're in the park, or bombing some steep slopes, it'll handle whatever you throw at it. Mine is the 2011-2012 model so the graphics are a bit different but I don't believe they've made any huge differences since I bought mine. It's not as stiff as say the Dark Series (also an epic board) but it's also not as soft as the skate banana. If you're only going to buy one snowboard, let this be the one. The base isn't sintered, it's extruded, so it's a little slower than some higher performing boards but it's still very fast when you put good wax on it.

Between the Magnetraction, and the BTW rocker/camber, this board can handle any condition you throw at it. I'm 5'10" ~200lbs and I ride a 157.

My everyday board

This is my go to board. It's a fantastic all mountain, super responsive turns, the magnetraction works wonders on the hard pack, stable at high speeds, nimble enough to have fun in the trees or on jumps. Adjust the stance a bit and it's not half bad in pow either.

Per my son's words....Awesome Snowboard

Hi everyone at Dogfunk! My son, age 21 used his new Lib Tech snowboard for the first time this past week and said it was "an awesome board" and had a great day snowboarding at mountaincreek in NJ. Glad we chose this brand and thanks for the help with sizing...he said it was perfect

Killer board. Great All Mountain Freeride/Freestyle Board. Holds up great at high speeds and large lines. Really, it does everything. Have tried many other boards, keep going back to this one. This will be my 4th TRS over the years, and I must say this year I was real happy they made it stiffer. That has always been my one issue, it gets soft. So, it should now have increased pop, stability, and life. Also must say, always thought the graphics were a little off, now they're truly off. Not stoked on graphics, but really, who buys a board for graphics anyways?! Giving 5 stars because I love riding this board everywhere (I'm mostly riding deep powder, steeps, chutes, cliffs, side/backcountry).
