Stunt with the blunt.

When Travis Rice feels like throwing some dub corks on massive backcountry booters, he grabs the Lib Tech T.Rice Pro C2-BTX HP Blunt Tip Snowboard. This freestyle deck has a twin shape, poppy profile, and lightweight Horsepower construction to help him crush jumps and stomp next-level tricks whether he's ripping powder or the park.

C2-BTX Power Banana technology features rocker between the bindings for a floaty and forgiving ride in powder, with camber zones extending from the bindings to the tip and tail to give it a more aggressive feel that provides edge hold on hard pack and pop off of jumps. Magne-Traction edges slice through ice like a knife so you can hold an edge on the slickest slopes, and a twin shape and centered stance allows for easy switch riding.

Travis also knows how important protecting the environment is for snowboarding, which is why this board is made in USA using eco-conscious materials. A blend of Power A, Polonia, and Aspen XL wood in the core makes it strong, snappy, and lightweight, and the wood comes from fast-growing, sustainably harvested trees so you're not contributing to the destruction of the rainforests. Basalt replaces fiberglass to reduce toxins created in the manufacturing process without sacrificing strength, and the Bio Bean topsheet is made from castor beans instead of petroleum-based plastics.

  • Rocker between bindings, camber at tip and tail
  • Twin shape
  • Magne-Traction edges
  • Basalt lay-up
  • Medium-stiff flex
  • Power A, Polonia, and Aspen XL core
  • Co-Sintered extruded base

  • Bio Beans glitter topsheet

this board is an amazing ride, I'm 5'7 150lbs i bought a 157 bc thats the deal I negotiated with the shop and wanted a pow board. Its a little on the larger side for what I ride but the board is one of its own. very strong board for bombing trails. The MTX edges hold very well on ice patches that come up on the trail as the day goes on. Never slip out. The 157 is a little big for the park but I have the nversummer eve 4.0 to get playful in the park. The lib tech floats amazing on the powder. A little on the stiffer side. I would say more all mountain ripper. Ripping kickers as well.

so what size would you go with now if you had the choice, '53? or '55. I'm about your same dimensions, trying to decide between the attack banana and the t.rowe price hp. leaning towards the 53 in both but don't want it to be too short in the pow. any insight comrade?

go 153, both of you.
I'm 5'8" 175 and I use a 153 for park and powder and it works wonderfully.
