Lighter, snappier, and smoother.

Souped-up with Horsepower Construction, the Lib Tech Skunk Ape C2-BTX HP Wide Snowboard is lighter, snappier, and smoother flexing than the standard Skunk Ape. This construction technique drastically reduces weight while reducing its overall environmental footprint by eliminating fiberglass from the equation. Instead of using traditional fiberglass, Basalt volcanic fiber reinforcements are utilized in conjunction with the board's super-strong Aspen/Paulownia/Columbian Gold wood core and Bio-Plastic Beans topsheet. The result is a hard-charging board with a super-light, incredibly snappy feel when you're charging steeps, sending natural hits into powder, and carving at scary-fast speeds. Additionally, the Horsepower variant of the Skunk Ape features an upgraded Sintered base for a tougher, more wax-absorbent structure that glides faster across widely varying snow conditions.

Taking the same approach to riding as the original Skunk Ape, the Horsepower version is likewise suited for the biggest riders seeking out the steepest runs and deepest stashes of their local mountain. Its waist is much wider than a standard board, easily accommodating riders with feet sized 12 and up. The slightly set-back (0.5-inch) directional twin shape inspires straight-line confidence and supreme float in the deepest snow, all without sacrificing its ability to ride and land switch.

Giving the board all-terrain versatility for slaying anything on the mountain, the board's C2-BTX profile provides the benefits of Lib's famous "Banana Rocker" between the feet, blended with camber running to the nose and tail contact points. This rocker/camber blend provides the effortless float and catch-free feel inherent to rocker designs, but without the overly unstable feel inherent to fully rockered boards. Camber underfoot provides the snappy response on edge and powerful pop desired by bigger riders charging steeps, high-speed groomers, and natural jumps.
