The wider version of a true icon.
Hey there bigfoot, are you ready for a fun freestyle snowboard that won't cause toe drag or feel like a plank of solid wood under your feet? The Lib Tech Skate Banana BTX Wide Snowboard is the same award-winning deck as it's standard-width cousin, but with a wider waist to eliminate toe drag for riders with size eleven or bigger boots. BTX Banana technology, Magne-Traction edges, and a medium flex come together to make the Skate Banana capable of taking on everything from the park to the peak.
The proven BTX profile features rocker between the bindings with mellow camber out towards the tips for a catch-free ride that can still hold an edge when you're laying down carves on hardpack. It gets better with Magne-Traction edges, which place seven strategic bumps along the edges for reliable edge hold in icy conditions. The bumps are bigger between the feet, which concentrates most of the grip there for a ride feeling that's more like a skateboard and less like standing on some old timer's skis. Plus it's a true twin for unrestricted switch shredding.
The Columbian Gold/Power A core uses fast-growing, sustainably harvested wood for a board that's light yet poppy and strong. Power Transfer internal sidewalls crank up the durability, and they're buffered by UHMW external sidewalls for impact resistance. The Teflon-infused TNT base holds up to jibbing and runs fast even when you forget to wax it for a few days. Best of all, you can rest easy knowing that your snowboard was built with eco-friendly materials in the US.
