Matt Cummins's signature pow-seeking missile.

Matt Cummins has been helping Lib Tech design the La Niña MC C1-BTX Snowboard for over twenty years now, which is probably longer than you've been snowboarding. In those last couple decades they have managed to create a freeride destroyer that's capable of charging down steeps, yet is surprisingly fun when you hit mellow jibby zones.

It features a directional Banana profile that has rocker between the bindings with subtle camber out towards the nose and more aggressive camber towards the tail. This makes it float effortlessly in powder while giving it tons of drive and precision when slashing and carving through the deep stuff. Magne-Traction .5 edges are toned down for a less grabby feel than standard Magne-Traction, but they still provide plenty of grip on icy slopes. A directional flex profile keeps the board stiffer in the tail for powerful, surfy turns, and the sintered base is fast to keep you moving through flat spots.

You'll also be happy to know that it's built right here in the USA with environmentally-conscious materials and processes. The Power A core is made from sustainably-harvested aspen trees, and the Bio Bean topsheet is made from castor beans instead of petroleum-based plastics.
