Macho snowboarding made easy.

When Lib Tech dropped the Hot Knife C3 BTX snowboard at the end of last season, it was the world's first glimpse at the rebirth of cambered snowboards. Lib claims that the camber-dominant banana is the world's best cambered snowboard, and there's a gang of people that agree. The overall cambered shape gives you solid landings and locked in turns, while the banana profile between the feet adds grip and float. Plus, it's got an elongated, pointy nose and tail, for killer float both directions. Think of it as the powerful rider's quiver-killer. A bunch of rippers have retired their former favorites and fully converted to the Hot Knife, and we'll see a lot more by the time this season is over.

The Hot Knife is built on Lib's C3 BTX profile. That means that it's cambered tip to tail, but there's a rockered section between the feet. If you lay it on the ground, the tip and tail touch, and the rockered section between the feet doesn't. We know, it sounds crazy, but the result is all the cambered power and edge hold that you love, juiced up with a bunch of extra float, and more grip between your feet. It gets better with Magne-Traction edges, which place seven strategic bumps along the edges. The bumps are bigger between the feet, which concentrates most of the grip there for a ride feeling that's a lot like a skateboard. The twin shape shreds switch just like it does regular, and the elongated tip and tail keep the Hot Knife floating over fluffy pow and icy crud like no cambered board before it.

The Columbian Gold core uses sustainably harvested wood for a board that's light, and snappy. Power Transfer internal sidewalls crank up the durability, and they're buffered by UHMW external sidewalls for impact resistance. The sintered base holds a ton of wax to keep you flying around the mountain. Best of all, you can rest easy knowing that your snowboard was built with eco-friendly materials by snowboarders with jobs.
