More like two snowboards on a diet than your traditional pair of skis, the Lib Tech Freeride HP Skis utilize Lib Tech's industry-changing snowboard technology in a two-plankin' package that will rip the hardpack and float pow like nothing you've skied before. The Magne-Traction edges act like a steak knife slicing through a medium-rare sirloin when confronted with icy conditions. With more serration, or bumps, underfoot, you get increased edge hold where you need it, while the pattern gradually mellows out towards the tip and tail for a surfy feel in powder.
The reCurve technology features a rockered tip and tail, with camber underfoot, for a fun and playful ski that will still hold an edge on the groomers. The short turn radius makes these skis super playful, and highly maneuverable when hunting freshies through the trees. The sidewall construction keeps them stable at speed, and the Anvitex Dampener provides a surprisingly damp feel for such a rockered ski. Sintered bases withstand a little abuse, and the Bio Beans topsheet is a plastic made from beans for an eco-friendly construction.
