DUH XC2 BTX Snowboard

Lib Tech is once again changing the way that we think about snowboards with its newest release, the DUH HP XC2 BTX Snowboard. This unique board features four edges. Yes, you read that right—two normal edges running down the outside, along with two more inner edges embedded directly into the base. The base is lifted between the inner and outer edges to give you greater leverage when turning. This experimental design offers excellent edge hold, quicker turn initiation, and a faster overall feel.

The XC2 BTX profile is similar to the C2 Banana profile, but with longer camber sections underfoot and a shorter rocker section between the bindings for a more aggressive feel and superior stability. Magne-Traction outer edges are serrated to slice through ice like it's fresh corduroy, so you can rip down bulletproof slopes while everyone else is washing out left and right. A triax and biax glass layup gives the board a lively, responsive feel, and the extruded base is easy to repair if it takes a hit from a hidden rock or stump.

You can also ride a little easier knowing that this board was made right here in America using environmentally-friendly materials. The Bio Bean topsheet is made from castor beans instead of petroleum-based plastics, and the lightweight and strong aspen and Colombian Gold wood core comes from fast-growing, sustainably harvested trees so you're not contributing to the destruction of the rainforests.
