Description

Stop cursing at your fat tires and change them with the Sabres.

Lezyne made the Saber Levers for changing big DH and freeride tires that usually snap plastic levers like toothpicks. These stainless steel Lezyne levers hold up to tons of torque and abuse, and also include a 15mm end wrench to help remove your burly back wheel. Oh yeah, and they have a bottle opener—but that kinda goes without saying. Sold in pairs for your tire changing enjoyment!

Bomber levers

These are awesome for wire bead downhill tires where plastic levers will just bend and break.

Totally agree. These are the best levers ever. I have Sun-Ringle Rhyno Lite mountain bike wheels and changing tires is a pain. Can't remember how many plastic levers I broke changing them in the past. That is not an issue with these. These are a life saver and don't weigh too much. Great levers. I have a set in each of my bike bags.

Relief

In a world plagued with plastic tire levers I have finally found what I need. If you own anything with tires you are out of your mind to not order these. Even for XC, I'll gladly carry the weight around for the security of knowing I wont snap my lever on my buddies absurdly tight bead, leaving us prying like mad men with our fingers. I also like to carry two with me for that same reason, since you never know when you'll run into someone with a bead/rim combo that does require two. The finish on the nickel ones seems fine so I can't imagine much benefit from the more expensive ones, but I suppose if you have money to burn you could burn it up on that.

theee best!

been carrying these around for a couple months in my pack and used for the time up on whistler this past weekend. First random guy in the parking lot needed a pedal wrench and second, trail side blown tube repair. Worked great for both. No more broken plastic levers when changing those dh tires. Highly recommend these.

Lezyne Saber Levers

Excellent design. Each lever weighs 64g. Their is a nice elastic band that keeps them secured together. Function very well (just changed the tube on my wife's bike). There is something reassuring about the cold heft of a metal lever that is lacking in the plastic designs. It is kind of like a drinking glass made of real glass rather than polycarbonate: somehow, it just feels better.

Perfect tool for the work bench and tool box

The pair is a bit pricey but you get two. Most experienced mechanics can remove and install a tire with one iron. So one is for the work bench aka bar, and one is for your mobile tool box.
It is well designed, clean, sweet and your friends will be jealous.

Don't cry, pry your eye, and here comes your mother...

I thought the Lezyne XC levers were tops. They are definitely strong enough to tackle the toughest DH tires. But these Sabre levers are over the top nasty! I think the images presented don't do the length of this tool justice. They are around 6.5" long and offer great leverage and grip. The neoprene sleeve included keeps them from rattling in my pack...until I lose it. I can't afford bottled beer, but if I could, the bottle opener would be handy. For now it just provides a weight saving void in the material. Did I mention their pretty?
