Harness the power of data.
Lezyne's bottle cages, tools, and pumps have a solid reputation for striking design and functional details, and its recent foray into cockpit accessories lives up to those high expectations. This year, the company waded into the electronics and data tracking pond with a new line of affordable GPS cycling computers and a goal of going toe-to-toe with established leaders in the field of data tracking. The Power GPS Bike Computer sits in the middle of Lezyne's GPS line with a classy design and a wide range of ride data tracking capability.
On the outside, the Power GPS is clean and streamlined. With an easy to read screen, simple four-button operation, and machined aluminum edges, this computer is user-friendly and adds a touch of classy design to any handlebar. At 30.4mm wide and 37.8mm tall, the screen is large enough to read out on the road, but not so large that it overwhelms your stem and causes others to wonder if you've strapped a phone to your bike. The screen features a backlight for clear readability in varying light conditions and an X-Lock standard stem mount holds the unit securely in place. Alternately, cyclists can opt for the available out-front mount option to reduce stem clutter.
In addition to its good looks, the Super GPS is packed with technology for access to ride data. It pairs with Bluetooth Smart equipped devices, allowing a multitude of data gathering options. It features instant ride file download with plug-and-play flash technology for both Mac and Windows and direct upload to Lezyne's own GPS Root website for ride analysis and tracking. The Lezyne Ally phone app syncs rides via Bluetooth Smart, and ride files are compatible with popular third-party activity tracking sites. You can even receive text, e-mail, and phone call notifications when the unit is paired with a Bluetooth Smart enabled iOS or Android device.
While the Lezyne Power GPS Bike Computer isn't able to pre-load and direct you through routes, it collects data as you ride for analysis and mapping when you get home. Twenty-two hours of battery runtime and 200 hours of data storage let you track even your most adventurous epics (read: rides where you get lost for hours), and the unit is easily rechargeable via a Micro USB plugin. Rest assured that the Power GPS will capture all the data you need from every ride.
