    Be seen.

Sometimes being seen is more important than illuminating your own path--think of early-morning urban commuting--so Lezyne designed the work-of-art Femto Drive Front Light to let motorists know you're coming. The LED bulb puts out 15 lumens of steady or flashing illumination, courtesy of two replaceable CR2303 batteries, and the CNC-machined aluminum body keeps rain and spray out while looking like something you'd find on a classic Italian scooter. The stretchy silicone-rubber strap connects easily to bars and stems, and is a breeze to pop off for security if you're leaving your ride outside for a hot minute.

    Great little light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had a couple of these and they are awesome! Lightweight to carry in the pack for returning across town after a late afternoon shoreline trail. Easy to mount on all sizes of bars and seatposts with the rubber strap.

    Great for micro rides

This light is great for safety in the city for those grocery store runs and when you end your rides in the evening while the days are getting shorter.

I use Exposure lights for the real night rides.

      Simple and Effective

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This light is a super simple design, I have both the front and rear and I couldn't be happier. At a price that doesn't break the bank you get a light that has 5 settings. At only 7 lumens it doesn't put out a ton of light but it does allow you to be seen. A great economical choice for lighting up your bar bike.

      Simple!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This light attaches and detaches with a durable elastic band, and the battery lasts a long time. I've had it a couple months and used it multiple times a week, and the light still shines bright, on all three settings.

Great to be seen, not to see.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you're looking for a light to help illuminate your journey, this is not the lamp for you. However, if you're looking for something to alert drivers to your presence, step no further. The Lezyne Femoto Drive Front Light and its multiple settings will alert all drivers, runners, riders, and critters, of your coming. It includes a steady state bulb, a fading setting, a blink setting, and a 70s disco setting.

This light is not to be used to help guide your journey, it is far too weak for that and barley illuminates a few feet past the wheel.

As a complaint, I wish the rubber strap was longer. I have a hybrid with what I assume average diameter handlebars, but I often struggle stretching the strap around the bar. Maybe half an inch longer would be better, but I'll take what I can get.

      Great Light

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Listen - if you're looking in this price range, you're obviously not getting huge stream of light. But this guy does the trick - multiple flash settings which certainly force cars to see you. You may hit a pothole or 2 on your way home from the bar, but then again..thats half the fun.

      Nice little bike light

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Not being visible to traffic at night can be a little dangerous.

These lights are nice and inexpensive. They only really light up 5-6 feet in front of your bike, but its more than bright enough to catch the attention of cars passing by. I just leave my light on the slowest flashing mode to conserve battery.

I like that these have a little clip on them too so I can slide it onto a backpack for hiking around at night.

Great light for the money. Will probably also bring these on climbing trips and set them up at night to do some night time bouldering

      simplicity!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

this light is low on price, high on ease of use. press it in for three seconds to turn it on and off, tap once to engage each of the three modes. it's a great light and a total necessity for night time riding.

      Great Value

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I needed a commuter light for my circa 1995 commuter whip.

Obviously, I'm not going to spend a fortune on that.

I just need something that flashes.

At first I was puzzled because I could not get this thing to work.

Then I realized I was an idiot, and you actually have to press the light in for 3+ seconds before it will activate.

There are 3 different modes - I've been using this frequently with no issues for a month now. Good enough that I grabbed a set for my roommate as well.

We are stylin and the bank is not broken.

      Great Value

      just the right light

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

after a couple close calls on the rd, I decided a front light was needed. This light is very lite and very bright and has 4 different flash options plush a constant option.

      Small, unobtrusive, and adds visibility

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought a black one of these to put on my black road bike so it doesn't stick out. Obviously not going to work as your only source of light at night- I use a headlamp for that. It's perfect to add high visibility for oncoming traffic at dusk. It's little, works well for its intended purpose, and was cheap enough that I don't mind leaving it on the bike all the time- if it gets stolen I won't be heartbroken. No downsides so far.

After several months of use, only downside is it gets dim as the batteries die and they are on the expensive side to replace. Still recommended and hard to go wrong with something this cheap that could save your life, but might be worth considering (more expensive) USB rechargeable lights.

Is this bright enough to be used as a "be seen" light during the day? I mean is it visible from a distance in daylight?
