Collapsible poles used to be flimsy and untrustworthy, but Leki's Micro Tour Stick Vario Ski Pole changes all that with a rugged design, an aluminum and carbon shaft, and a PE- and Kevlar-coated stainless steel tensioning cord. It's easy to break down, but extends with a single pull and locks down with aluminum connection sleeves to form a bomber pole that can handle all your alpine exploits. It comes in two sizes and even features 20cm of adjustment, so it can fit a variety of shredders, and has an Aergon Thermoform Tour grip with an EVA extension for easy grip on the skin track. A powder basket keeps you afloat when you're pushing through the deep, too, but easily swaps out for more streamlined baskets when you're tearing up the groomers.
