Mediocare all mtn boot

These boots are not 120 flex. I have Salomon boots that are rated 110 flex and these are softer. The ski/walk feature is nice, but it does add weight to the boot. The toe box is super wide on these. I thought my foot was wide but my forefoot swims in these.
Great Boot, Walking mode a plus!
Changed from a Head boot to this one, but even with a wide foot the boot is comfortable. Got a custom foot bed and haven't had to modify the shell. I wear a size 9.5 shoe and was fitted for a 25.5 boot. 120 flex gives me incredible control on my new Moment PB&J's. Walking mode is nice for Apres Ski and walking to the car. Highly recommended.
My new Lange Superblaster boots are painful...
My new Lange Superblaster boots are painful to take off [I just replaced a rear step in with an instep strap]. The boots fit great to ski; but, the instep is way to narrow for ease of removal. What can I do (how far can I stretch the tounge out of the boot to open the front)? [ready to go back to my old boot]
Feel free to open them as wide as you can and yank the tongue out as far as possible. When I pull my feet out of my race-fit alpine boots, I have to spread the instep as well as the cuff. As long as you store them properly afterward (buckles closed), you won't damage the boot by bending it as you pull your feet out.
Great All-Mountain Boots!
Took these out for the first time today. Had a rough first couple of runs while I was constantly adjusting the buckles to get a comfortable fit, but once I got them dialed in, it was smooth sailing the rest of the day. The cuff release is awesome and not only is it great for walking, releasing it before getting on the lift helped rest my feet so I could ski every run just as hard as the last. The 102mm last is great, especially for skiers who want a high performing boot without having to crush their feet.
Overall, It's a comfortable, sturdy boot that is extremely versatile.
Also, I recommend getting fitted first by a bootfitter before you buy these. My old ski boots were fitted to a 28 and when I got these, I was fitted to a 27 and they fit great!
coming from a racing background, I'm a super aggressive skier but racing boots were too stiff for my everyday use and ski patrol duties where I walk and hike a lot, and these boots are my most favorite boots ever! 102mm wide has plenty of room for all the screws in my foot but it's super comfortable and at the same time hugs ur feet so well that every movement transfers straight to ur edge... the 120 flex is more comparable to 90 flex in a salomon boot.
love the walk future, just open the second buckle and immediately the boot flexes all the way for easy walking and standing.
the replacable rubber soles are great for hiking and walking from ur car were all the other skiers are sliding all over the place awkwardly!
