Description

All-mountain evolution with hardcore heritage.

You need a boot that crushes big burly lines with the grace of a gazelle. You've finally found it with the Lange Men's RX 130 Ski Boot. A stiff 130 flex delivers plenty of response and power when you slash turns, and the 40mm Camlock powerstrap ensures that you can snug these bad boys down as tight as you see fit. The control fit liner is plenty comfortable out of the box, and combined with a removable spoiler for adjustable lean angles, you're sure to find the configuration that works for you. In case you end up doing some hiking with your buddies throughout the day (bring avy gear!), the RX 130's come with Ultra Grip replaceable rubber soles, so you won't be slipping around on any hardpack or knife-edge ridgelines.

I got these last season as a re-entry into alpine after a decade of splitting time between tele-ing and alpine...I missed going fast. I picked these over the WC or RS because of the 100mm last...stiff but wide enough for my flat'n'wide feet...these boots rock. The linings are super comfy...soft material but snug and stiff. Flex is just right, and can be made stiffer with the power strap. Control is intuitive and sure; this is a power boot that responds to power. I'm glad I have stiff skis. I spent two days at Sunday River laying down GS turns all day, then skied the fluffy backcountry in Steamboat for a week, and visited my brother at Snowbird for four days, and we went all over the place. These boots were great everywhere. As with all Lange boots, invest in some duct tape to cover the flap by the toes...some snow gets in there. Then again, my feet didn't get wet or cold, and I had them in the powder for 8 days. If Lange figures out that gap, these boots are the greatest ever.
