Banshee W Ski Boot - Women's

Only Lange could be behind a women’s boot like the Banshee W—a World Cup-level beast on a leash, crammed to the teeth with comfort-conscious features for the most demanding gals on two planks. To create it, Lange designed a ladies-only freeski liner—complete with thermoformable foam, fleece lining, gel tongue padding, and a down-insulated, shock-absorbing toebox—then poured it into their renowned R11 World Cup race shell. On the outside, they installed an elastic power strap and a vibration-dampening boot board to provide further shock absorption, and Vibram inserts at the toe and under the heel to add traction on sketchy bootpacks. The R11 shell cuff is cut approximately one inch shorter to match ladies’ lower-leg morphology, but it remains narrow and stiff throughout for precise edging and matchless power transmission. This boot begs to conquer the most technical terrain the planet has to offer—give it what it wants, or it will consume you without remorse and move on. SIZES LISTED ARE US MENS. SEE CHART FOR CONVERSION.

Bottom Line: When all is said and done, the Lange Banshee W leads a big-mountain class of one.

Write your question here...I have been skiing for the past three years in a Lange WC120 women's ski boot. LOVED them but they are shot. Can anyone tell me the differrence between the Lange Women's Banshee and the Women's Freeride 110? The Freeride appears to be identical to my WC120's, but the flex is slightly softer, or is it?. Is the Banshee stiffer than all of the boots in question? I hate skiing in a boot that is too soft. You can soften a boot, but you can'y make it stiffer. I hate to make a bad choice on boots and them regret it all season. Also. I like an upright stance in my boot with lateral stiffness. And yes, they need to be Lange...

pshew! I think this would make more sense than a long explanation of why a race boot can't compare to a all mountain performance boot. Both are awesome and both are now replaced by newer boots with different names. Try this one, you will be happy and it is comparable to your old world cup 120's
