Good bottle, fix the cap

The cap has to go. Cheap plastic, but the bottle is great. Fresh tasting water, durable, and meets my expectations.
Like a wide-mouth Sigg..

I've so far replaced most of my Nalgenes with these, Siggs, and Klean Kanteens. I like these more than the Sigg because the mouth is wider. Its easier to clean since I can stick one of those bottle cleaner brushes in it. For this particular bottle and its sports cap, I wasn't too into the sports cap. Maybe I have a faulty one? Because when I use the sports cap its like there is something wrong as if there is extra air coming through while drinking. Kind of like drinking out of a broken straw, if you get the idea. So i basically have to uncap the bottle to drink out of this anyways.

If you are looking for an amazing bottle that will not only last forever, but will always be there no matter your excursion, don't hesitate to get this one...
50% off right now...what a steal for a bottle the quality of Laken. These purchases make me so happy to knowing my money was well spent.
*awesome style, easy to clean, carries any kind of beverage, sick sport-sip top, dishwasher safe..what is there not to like...besides 1 complaint.
- mine didn't come with a ring so I had to use one from my keychain so I could clip it to my carabiner. Nice having the bigger one anyways as the one in the pic looks small.

The bottle has a good size and shape and the lid is pretty nifty, but the mouth piece doesn't always allow for a steady stream of water flow. Right after a run, when I don't feel working for much of anything (much less my water), I have to sit there and work at getting the water out. So, it's a cool bottle, a great alternative to plastic, looks cool, but doesn't dispense water rapidly.

can i freeze water in this bottle or will it damage it??

freezing water causes it to expand. if you don't leave enough room, you'll rupture the bottle. if you really want to freeze it solid, leave the cap off and leave lots of room for expansion until you know what you can do, but never seal it and never fill it all the way.
