A wide mouth makes it easy to add ice cubes, sport-drink powder, and to clean the Laken Classic 0.75 Bottle, and the non-leach lining on this aluminum bottle takes care of BPA worries. The Classic 0.75L Bottle has a drink-safe interior lining. Fill this water bottle and bring it along on short hikes, workouts, and bouldering trips.
Bottom Line: The Classic Bottle opens wide for ice cubes, energy powder, and cleaning.
I purchased one of these and within 6 months the seal on the cap failed. I stashed it in my backpack with a couple of $180 dollar textbooks and it leaked all over them. Pretty disappointing.
Bought two for my daughter to take to college. Light enough to wear as earrings. What can you say? Laken quality. Holds water well. Interior coating is holding up well after four scrubbings. She likes the top design. She had two of the squared sides Lakens in Africa for four months with The Traveling School. Dented to heck but never cracked and interior coating looks fine despite daily scrubbings. I'll send a pic.
i give it four stars just because I like to think everything can be improved and I'm still not wild about interior coatings. They will always wear off eventually. I do love Laken's bottles. They are probably my favorite for quality and weight.

I've had my Laken 0.5 L textured graphite bottle for a few years now. Just recently I drove off with it (had just been filled) atop my Outback. When I realized my blunder and pulled over to retrieve, it went flying off the top, bounced off the asphalt and into a ditch. When I recovered it, to my relief there was just a an ever so slight, barely noticeable dent on the bottom edge. The true test was that the interior lining showed no cracks or chips! Perhaps the textured finish is more durable, or at least shows less dents?
YES, Laken bottles are BPA Free. This lining is a Poly Aramide and not an Phenolic Epoxy. They lined their bottles in the past with the same kind of flexible epoxy that Sigg does now, but have changed to an entirely BPA Free coating. Check out the website at LAKENUSA.COM.
Great high quality bottle from Laken. Super easy to clean and manages to keep liquids cold for quite a while. Awesome loop on the cap makes it easy to clip a carabiner to, which was a big plus for me. Dropped it a few times and had a some dents but no damage to the lining. Overall great bottle!
I bought two through my Land Rover Club. Bottles were silk-screened with our club logo and have been great additions to my off-roading kit. They keep drinks handly and do not leak. Lining does not react to acidic drinks (i.e. citrus juices) nor adult beverages ;-). Great for taking on morning picnics and have a Blooding Mary.
I've had this bottle for a year and a half now, and it's by far my favorite. It dents easily, but the lining stays intact. The aluminum also conducts temperatures well for icing a sprain w/ cold water...
definitely one of the nicest bottles out there. Extremely light weight, leak proof top which doubles as easy two fingered carry point. Enamel interior coating is nice and not affected by dents. Only downside is the bottle seems to dent very easily, but maybe I'm just hard on my stuff
