the price compensates for the 40 degree bag. killer deal and super compressible. my twin uses it a lot in the summer. good price for a good bag and super lightweight.

Sleep warm down to the lower 40's without a problem. Had this bag for two years now and for the cost, you can't find a better bag. Its a little restictive in the shoulders. I use it primarily in the midwestern summer and shoulder seasons. Take it down another 5 degrees or so with warm socks and long johns on. This bag is rated on the European rating system which seems to be much more accurate that other random ratings the others use.

I used this bag during a car camping trip in Jun 09 and the temp went to only early to mid forties. The bag wasn't warm enough. I had the wear all the clothes I had and put my wife's rain jacket over the top. I have since exchanged it for a Big Agnes.

I was looking for a decent warm weather bag that was light, packed small, and a good value. Caught it on sale and decided to give it a try. I have used this bag a few nights at a time over a few weeks. It was too warm for 75 degrees and got chilly with just shorts on at 45 degrees. With a long sleeve shirt and bottoms, it would probably do fine at the rated 40 degrees. It does not have much loft and I would recommend using a lightweight sleeping pad since it is thin. Construction quality seems to be decent. I noticed some "down feathers" floating around the first few days of use but it was probably just loose down from assembly. Pack size is about 5.5"x10.5" and weighs about 1lb 7oz (23oz). With a different compression sack, it could possibly stuff smaller. The zipper has a florescent grip that glows nicely in the dark. For what this bag is, I could not justify spending three times as much for a different brand bag for casual usage. Hard core ultralight backpackers may want to go for something else smaller and lighter but for lightweight guys or hikers on a budget, it is great.

I just picked this bag up and took it on first trip. Started on Spring in Georgian and hiked 70 miles north over 3 days. Weather was wet and warm with night temps in high 40s. low 50s. Bag is fantastic. I slept in skivvies and was abundantly warm. Bag is roomy and I never felt crowed (I am 6/2") Compresses to the size of a softball. Only downsides are 1) small gap big enough to stick my pinkly through at base of zipper at end of bag, could get draft on cooler temps. 2) Zipper is full length which is unnecessary and could be removed to reduce weight; 3)Compression sack has about 6" of cord on 4 strands that could be reduced to save weight.

Just for very warm summer nights. During cold nights (12° C, 50° F) i had to put quite a much clothes on, so i can sleep (and it was not comfort sleep). If you are looking for light and warm sleeping bag, try Marmoth. Lafuma is not worth.

I recieved this bag a couple of weeks ago. Though I haven't used it camping yet, it is small enough to easily fit into a daypack, bookbag or medium size purse and I've found it quite handy to use for extra warmth at backyard BBQ's and Picnics that ran overtime and it's also been quite useful when the a/c was on too high at the movie theater. A very compact bag that has kept me toasty on the non-camping front.
