Just because you choose to limit your backpacking trips and camping to the more moderate seasons doesn't mean you can't reap the benefits of good ol' fowl feathers. The lightweight, seriously packable down insulation in the 40-degree Lafuma Warm'n Light 600 Sleeping Bag offers warmth in cool overnight temps yet promotes cooling and airflow when temps rise.
  • Ultralight 600-fill down has a high warmth-to-weight ratio—ideal for those who like to shave weight on multi-day backpack trips
  • Tactel lining wicks moisture away from the skin to help you regulate your temperature—helps you stay dry to prevent chills
  • Cold-proof flap stops cold air from seeping in at the zipper
  • Double cursor zipper won't get caught in the lining material thanks to the Zipper Guard's anti-jamming design
  • Phosphorescent zipper pull ends emit a soft glow so you can easily spot them when it's time to crash
  • Twin Lace Compress Plus compression system takes your sleeping bag down to a packable size
  • Pairable with opposing zipper version to make one large bag
  • The internal hook-and-loop pocket gives you a handy place to stash small items

Nice, compressible down bag

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought 2 of these for a trip with my husband. We have a set of 2 Marmot Sawtooth 15 degree bags that zip together, and we love the space in those. We purchased Warm'n Lights for a warmer weather trip to ditch the size and weight of our other bags. The bags seemed too small when zipped together, so we ended up not bothering to zip them. Overall we were happy enough with the bags--they were super-light and compact compared to what we are used to carrying. The weather only got down into around the mid-50s, and the bags were sufficient for that. The price was great too!
