The Lafuma Warm’n Light 1000g II Sleeping Bag lives in a small 6 x 12in space in your three-season camping or summer mountaineering pack. A high ratio of down-to-feathers (90/10) ups this bag’s warmth and loft, and lowers feather-stem poking.

  • 650-fill goose down keeps bag lightweight and compressible
  • Full-length, two-way zipper provides venting options
  • Windproof gusset at bottom to retain heat
  • Interior pocket for small items

Bottom Line: Lighten up.

12 x 6in? is this really the stuff size? Looks good in weight

12 x 6in? is this really the stuff size? Looks good in weight and degrees... and the price is nice... I think I'm going to get one... I wish they had more pictures or review...

Just in case no one has this bag to answer for sure, I'll just throw out there that if you've only had synthetic bags up to this point, it can seem hard to believe it'll stuff that small, but I've got a 40 degree down bag that I could stuff in a Nalgene bottle if I wanted to, so I'd believe 12x6 would be no problem for a 20 degree.

The specs say that the bag stuffs that small because 12 X 6 is the size of the stuff sack. The bag can actually stuff smaller than that and the stuff sack has compression pulls on it to get it as small as it can go.
Another line of bags that also packs seriously small is the Golite Adrenaline series. Great bags although they tap the wallet a little harder. Golite uses 800 fill as opposed to the 650 that Lafuma uses in these bags which gives the Golite more loft over the Lafuma relative to weight and size. I have been impressed with both the Lafuma warm'n light series and the Golite adrenaline series.
Final note: The Lafuma is good but if your willing to drop the extra cash I would suggest going for the Golite Adrenaline.

This is a great bag. It stuffs down super small and only takes up a corner of your pack. If you're into minimalist fast and light packing this is a great bag. I give it four stars, not because there's anything wrong with it, but because there's better out there. If you are willing to pay a little extra check out the Golite adrenaline series (0, 20, and 40 degree rated bags). Golite uses 800 fill down as opposed to Lafuma's 650 (Translation: greater loft relative to weight and size). That combined with the Golite's fabric, zipper length and placement, and reinforced head and foot box make it the five star bag.
Bottom line: This bag is good, no, it's great, however if you can squeeze a little more out of the money tree check out the golite adrenaline series.
