I've been using this as my river rafting chair for the last three years. It's been strapped to my raft and carried down many river miles and it's still going strong. Nothing ripped, bent, or broken. It's light as a feather, comfy, and just the right height for relaxing in camp. It also has three reclining positions. If and when this chair ever dies, I'll definitely buy another.

The ideal RV chair. It's light enough to take with you to outdoor events. My first chair was heavier. And sad to say it only stood up for over 6 years sitting out in the sun. I'm confident these new ones will last just a long.

I bought this as a beach chair, living 10 minutes from the ocean, here in Delray Beach, FL. I can only say it's the most comfortable, well-made, and lightweight chair I've ever seen: Wider, lighter, and finished better than all the rest. The reclining function permits being comfortably upright for reading, back to near-supine for resting or sunning. Yes, it's a little pricey, but what's the alternative? That heavy, Chinese chair from CVS?

If you tend to avoid buying and owning crap, look to Lafuma for your deck furniture. I checked the usual suspects in town, finding only junk and cast metal suitable for your Mother-in-Law's house. I already own Lafuma's larger lounge chairs; they are spectacularly comfortable and worthy of years of use. These smaller chairs are much lighter and portable. I appreciate the support and comfort, and expect that they will also provide many seasons of deck activity. One word of caution - they are not constructed such that I would seat my larger friends (250+ pounders) in one. They are not THAT big. Backcountry gets 'em to you with not shipping, too.
