Simple and Comfy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you show up and plop down in a standard height camp chair, don’t plan on making friends with any of the folks sitting behind you. If you like making friends, but you still want a comfy spot to sit, you need a low-profile chair like the CB from Lafuma. Not only did the CB keep us low to the ground, I was able to extend my legs straight out in front of me, like I would in a deluxe chair that has a footrest. Plus, it folds up flat and has a shoulder strap for easy transport.

Best Chair Ever

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This super light chair made my trip to the beach awesome. The strap makes it easy to tote even though my hands were already full. A lot of chairs don't accommodate for height, but this was perfect for both tall adults and short kids. It sheds water and sand to dry quickly.

Not so great

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love Backcountry but don't love these chairs because they were wobbly, tilted you back and didn't fit wide bottomed people at all! The wonderful news though is how Backcountry handled my wanting to send them back. A prepaid return label was cheerfully sent to me and I really appreciate their good hearted service. Backcountry yes, these particular chairs, no!
