Wildcat Trail Running Shoe

The Women’s Wildcat Trail Running Shoe includes the same super-sticky FriXion rubber that you find on La Sportiva’s climbing shoes, so you know it’ll stay put on the slick stuff. La Sportiva also added aggressive lugs for increased traction on loose surfaces and an AirMesh upper for breatability on days when the trail is hot, hard, and dusty.

Great for "low-volume" feet

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I love these. They fit much more comfortably than most shoes and the arch isn't painful for my almost-flat feet. One thing that's really important to know is that they run extremely small, and I do mean *extremely*. My normal street shoe size is a pretty solid 8, but 41.5 in these was too short. I sized up to a 42 because that was the largest size they had. They fit well, but if I went on a really long hike I think I would probably need to size up even more. I actually ordered mine from REI, but I see they have the next size up here.
