Description

For serious runners.

The unique style of the La Sportiva Women’s Wildcat GTX Trail Running Shoe ensures it can’t be missed, but it’s what’s inside that really makes the difference. La Sportiva added a Gore-Tex membrane to keep your feet from getting wet while still allowing sweat to exit. A combination of Airmesh and Trail Cage makes the upper super tough yet well vented, and the FriXion AT soles provide serious traction on any type of terrain.

Do you know how these fit versus Scarpa running shoes?

I wear a 7.5-8 street shoe, but a 39.5 in Scarpa. I wear a 37.5 in the Mythos (but assuming climbing shoes aren't a good reference point.)

Wondering if I should get a 39 based on the other comment here. I have narrow feet.

I am already on my second pair. I am a 39/8.5 with a narrowish foot, and this shoe fits perfect. It has a stiff sole which is great for long trail runs. The gortex helps to keep it clean when running on wet trails. Not the best for street running, but that is not what its made for.

The shoe is really comfy, the grip is great, but the problem with this shoe and the reason I returned it, the tongue slides to one side and almost under your foot. There is no way to keep the tongue from moving. Very annoying.
A great shoe, but the lack of a lace/tongue loop was a problem for me.

So you haven't had feed back that this shoe runs large +/or small??

This shoe fits true to size...although the toe box is a little wide for my narrow foot. This was easily fixed by wearing thicker socks. I have been very happy with this shoe so far...its super cushioned and very comfortable. I have only used it for shorter runs, not sure if it would be stable enough for longer runs.

I also find these shoes to fit true to size. I ordered 41.5's and they fit just like my 41.5's from Pearl Izumi, which is about a 9.5 in US sizes. I usually take a 9.5 to 10 (Asics and Nikes for running shoes), so I was pretty stoked when these fit.

My wife is normally a US 7 - ordered the EU 38 as the size chart suggested, and they run a little small in her opinion. Re-ordering for a larger size.

How does sizing run?? I'm an 8.5 normal width> I notice the arch in my foot and like to have it supported. I'm getting older... This year I bought used LLBean garden shoes @ a size 9 and used Vans @ size 9. I need guidance with getting 8.5 or a 9 size. Hate to get into shipping back-forth for proper size. Txs...! LaSportiva is known for running narrow, but as far as which size you should get I'd say 8.5 if you wear that in normal trail running shoes. Garden shoes and skate shoes will obviously be flatter, If you think this is becoming your size from 8.5 due to a falling arch, get 9. The length won't be much longer and you'll appreciate when you're descending and won't have cramped toes. So since that probably confused you more, get both! It sucks to return stuff, but this way you could just return the non-magic pair and won't have to be without your shoes. My 2¢.

Good fit, very warm, very breathable, great stability! Another winner from La Sportiva.
