I'm exchanging the shoes I purchased at a sale price. However,
I'm exchanging the shoes I purchased at a sale price. However, the price has now increased, and it was recommended that I order the correct size shoes now, and Backcountry will reimburse me for the cost once they receive the original shoes that are too large. How does this work?

once you get the original shoe they will refund that price to get the sale price try using Chat Now and explain what happened they will probably match the sale price on the new shoe.

I got these for my mom, and she seems to like them. They have really nice FriXion soles, but she only hikes (no approach) so I can't really speak from that perspective.
Why can I not order these shoes? There's no pull down menu

Would these shoes be good for a hike up Half Dome? I'm looking for a shoe that looks good and that I can taking when I travel.

I bought these before a trip to AZ. I was really impressed by the fit, comfort, and performance. They were able to stay with me during intense Sedona hikes and trails down the Grand Canyon. They had great grip and traction on the ground which I found very important on steeper climbs. Great shoe, would highly recommend.
