All-day runs feel like a jog around the block with the amazing cushioning and support of the La Sportiva Pikes Peak Men's Trail Running Shoes. Designed specifically for the brutal 7,815ft-vertical trail marathon up Pikes Peak, these are the most cushy and comfortable trail running shoes in the La Sportiva line. Triple-density TrailShock EVA midsoles keep your feet comfortable even after miles and miles of harsh trail running. Pikes Peak Shoes also have a 2.5mm composite shank to increase torsional rigidity on uneven terrain.

Bottom Line: The Pikes Peak Trail Running Shoes are built to take on the longest days of running you'll encounter.

Solid Trail Runner

By:

The La Sportiva Pikes Peak is comfortable and well cushioned enough to provide a nice ride on a rough trail, but not so stiff as to be clunky. The padding on the upper, particularly around the ankles is good, and the sole is nice and beefy, providing good protection from rocky mountain trails. I would rate the show with a "5" is it were a little lighter and more flexible.

Great Trail Shoes

These are the best-fitting shoes out of the box that I've ever owned. First time wearing them they feet like I'd been running in them for a month -- cushy, snug, responsive, and no foot slop. GREAT SHOE!

Great enduro-hiker

What better endorsement could I give than this: I wore them for 22 miles and 13 hours, up and down the main Whitney trail, but I stopped at the Portal Store for a burger, a beer, and another hour, BEFORE going to the car to get my sandals.

Pikes Peak - excellent shoe

By:

These shoes are fantastic for long trail runs. They have a ton of padding and the toe has a certain angle on it that really propels you forward. I also have issues with pronation and they keep me in line and really solid through all the rocks, logs etc. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Rugged, durable, comfortable

By:

This was my first pair of La Sportiva shoes; I've worn mostly Montrail in the past. The fit is great - adequate for wider feet, but the advice given by other reviewers to size up by 1/2 size is a good idea. They seem very durable and surprisingly light - looking at them you might think they would be heavy. They feel a little like Montrail Hard Rocks but are better built.
