Be bolder when you boulder.
You're a bouldering badass, but you struggle to find shorts that fit well. Just like that blond-haired girl and her three ursine irritants, climbing shorts are either too long or too short. That all changes with the La Sportiva Women's Oliana Shorts. Designed for climbing, the longer inseam means you can wear a harness and not share your most intimate secrets with the world below. The comfort waist folds down when you're on belay, and you can leave it up when you don't want your harness harassing your skin. Trying to stretch your legs for a tricky toe hold? No need to worry about splitting seams since the gusseted crotch helps these shorts move with you, not against you.

From the recipient:
I really wanted to like these shorts because they had some really innovative ideas behind the design, but ultimately I thoroughly disliked them. My first issue was with the fit. These shorts looked like something I had borrowed from my boyfriend, as nothing about them suggested that they were designed for a woman. The area of the shorts that connected the seat to the leg was excessively loose, oversized and completely unflattering. When I wore these it looked like I was wearing a diaper which was only exacerbated by my second issue with these shorts: the maternity waistband. Now don?t get me wrong, before I received these shorts in the mail I was quite intrigued by the ?comfort waistband? that the Oliana shorts touted, but I was sad to see that the execution of the elastic waistband left a lot to be desired. The connection between the material of the elastic waistband and the cotton shorts is poorly designed. The difference between the stretch of the materials causes a weird bunching which only add to the illusion that you might be wearing a diaper. I love the idea behind these shorts and would like La Sportiva to continue to create innovative climbing clothing, but they need to go back to the drawing board on these.
I received a small and I had plenty of room to wear an adult diaper underneath.
