GTS 2.0 Alpine Touring Ski - Women's

We all wish we could have different skis for different days, but that's not always realistic. Luckily for our finances, the La Sportiva Women's GTS 2.0 Alpine Touring Ski handles everything from boot-top powder below treeline to melt-free crusts in the alpine, with a narrow waist and lightweight build that lets you bag big peaks and drop down wind-damaged chunder with equal aplomb. A traditional camber profile gives you stability on hard and variable snow and provides supreme edge hold while at speed, and La Sportiva's Fusion ABS sidewalls work with the lightweight multi-directional carbon and fiberglass laminates to keep the GTS stiff on speedy descents.

To keep things fun in soft snow, La Sportive hooked the GTS up with a softer tip and tail that allow for easy cruising through the fluffy stuff. As importantly, the lightweight Karuba wood core provides a poppy ride when you're wiggling out low-angle turns during high danger days. La Sportiva also equipped the GTS 2.0 with a fast and durable P-Tex 4000 sintered base with 1.9mm steel edges and rubber reinforcements at the tip and tail to protect your skis from your climbing skin's tip and tail clips. The GTS also has a plate under the binding zone for a secure connection between binding and ski, and a slightly longer radius that makes this ski ideal for steep terrain where side-slipping and jump turns are standard protocol during the descent.
