The longer the trail, the bigger the adventure.
The La Sportiva Women's FC 3.2 GTX Hiking Boot is lightweight yet supportive for backpacking with light to moderate loads. Gore-Tex Extended Comfort gives this boot guaranteed waterproof protection that remains highly breathable for warmer weather. Nubuck leather keeps the FC 3.2 strong, while mesh panels ensure ventilated airflow. A Dri-Lex lining helps wick moisture and dry quickly to keep your feet comfortably dry.
Underfoot, La Sportiva equipped the FC 3.2 with a dual-density EVA midsole made of recycled materials. There's also a LaSpEVA midsole for extra cush, and the TPU Shank ensures stability on a variety of terrain. Vibram's EcoStep sole uses partially-recycled rubber for grip, and the Impact Brake System helps when you lose control on the downhill.

My wife and I are getting on hikes a lot recently, so we decided it was time to get a gear upgrade.
Both got some hiking boots. She went for these Sportivas. These are incredibly water proof (water literally slips from the boots). She was worried that the boots would be too hard, as it happened with a pair of The North Face in the past, however these La Sportiva pair are super comfy and she started wearing them on daily walks from day 1. I also think they look kind of cute and don't look bulky at all. Here is a picture of our boots resting from a hike today.
