Armed with the incredible support and protection of the La Sportiva Barr Women's Trail Running Shoes, you'll find the roughest trails out there are a piece of cake. These shoes use La Sportiva's RockShock midsoles to prevent ankle rolling on rough sections, and a 2.5mm trail shank to provide plenty of support for uneven terrain. Though the Barr Trail Running Shoes are as supportive as most light hikers, they keep your feet cool on summer runs with breathable AirMesh uppers. A narrow heel profile prevents lift when you're pushing hard on the uphill stretch, and sticky FriXion AT soles give you all the traction you need. *Order up one size for better fit.

These shoes have proven to be very durable and definitely a good investment. I used them on the Pike’s Peak Ascent and true to their name, they're perfect for Barr Trail! I would always prefer a lighter shoe, but the support is well worth the extra ounces. They also do a great job of allowing your feet to breathe, no blisters here.
