Description

Fleece that performs.

As you ponder your next backpacking expedition or adventure trip abroad, make sure to slip Kuhl’s Tara Fleece Jacket over your shoulders before you head out the door. This fleece has a sleek, elegant texture, yet it also comes with contrast stitching for a decidedly athletic look. The feminine cut is made to move with a woman’s body, and the thumb loops keep the sleeves from levitating towards your shoulders when you’re using it as a layering piece. Wear it on its own in cool weather or with additional layers when the mercury drops.

Only one problem

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

I'm a big fan of Kuhl stuff so I bought one of these for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Only problem is now my wife wants one... Great product.

Im looking for a good micro-fleece to wear alone in the fall or as a layer with a shell. I dont want something too bulky. This looks a bit thick but I like the design. ANy suggestions?

It looks a lot thinner than some of the other Kuhl sweaters, to me. The Stovepipe sweater is super thick Alfpaca and it's unbelievably comfortable. This looks like a much slimmer fleece. If you're looking ultralight fleece, the North Face Annapurna is superlight... almost too light. If you want something that can double as an outer layer, the Arc'Teryx Covert Cardigan is DWR treated outside, with Polartec 200wt fleece inside.
