Komperdell built the Contour Titanal Antishock Light Trekking Pole using Titanal HF, which is as strong as steel and one-third lighter. The low swing-weight reduces arm fatigue, allowing you to hike comfortably for greater distances.

  • Anti-shock suspension system reduces impact and fatigue
  • Safety locking system prevents the pole from collapsing during your hike
  • Tungsten and carbide tip is flexible, further reducing shock

Bottom Line: Leave it to the Germans to improve your efficiency.

How long are they when they are completly collapsed? Wil they fit inside my 24" suitcase which has an inside length 22 1/2 inches.

Hey Dave,

72cm is about 28.4" when collapsed, so no, these won't fit in your suitcase. The Black Diamond trail shock compacts are about the shortest length when collapsed that I know of with a shock absorber, but they're still going to be 24.5". Fitting your poles into your suitcase diagonally might give you a better and more viable packing option, as well as the poles you want though.
