    Light and luxurious.

If you thought saving weight meant you'd have to spend the night sleeping on pins and needles, then you thought wrong. In the world of sleeping pads, the Klymit Inertia XL Sleeping Pad is the equivalent of a king size bed you can comfortably carry into the backcountry. Weighing just over a pound, the Inertia XL checks in on the light side of things, but it's built with an integrated pillow, side rails, and a wider shape that offers more coverage area, tossing room, and increased support. Despite its roomy size, the Inertial XL can be inflated with just 5-7 breaths and firmed up with the included air pump, which weighs just two ounces. The pad also comes with an included stuff sack and patch kit, in case you need to make a quick repair in the field.

    Perfect for bikepacking

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was looking for a pad that was lightweight and not bulky for bikepacking on the road. This pad worked perfectly for me. I used it in 40 degree temps with a 40 degree rated bag in a bivy sack.
