    Stripes are always in style.

Kitsbow doesn't believe in ever abandoning style altogether, even when you have a muddy, sweaty afternoon on tacky singletrack stretching out ahead of you. We can't help but agree. The hip, hyper-aware brand created its Mendo Merino Stripe Sock to keep you looking classy on the trails or roads, using a soft blend of merino wool, nylon, and Lycra to create a sock that will stay in place as you ride while pulling moisture away from the cracks and crevices between your toes and regulating body temperature. Plus, merino's natural odor-resistance will keep the sock smelling fine, even when you don't.

    The most comfortable socks ever

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

These are quite possibly, the most comfortable socks I've worn while riding mountain bikes in cooler conditions. I'm generally a huge fan of Swiftwick's blended fabric socks, but when the temperature dips, I like to move toward wool. Thicker wool socks tend to make the shoe feel too tight and can make my feet a bit too warm. This one strikes a great balance - not too thick, not too thin. They also stay up, haven't shown any signs of weakness around the toe or heel after about two-dozen rides and washes, which seems to happen with some SmartWool socks I ride with. So, a bit pricer, but well worth it.
