I am a newbie to the SUP sport and purchased two of these paddles for my wife and I. we both like these paddles a lot, they are pretty light and feel great in my hands and work very good. I purchased looking at the past reviews and thought why not the price was right and reviews where good so I went for it and glad I did.

Does the paddle come wrapped for international shipping?
Meaning, can I go abroad with the packing it came with or would I have to repack it myself?
I believe we ship this in cardboard packaging and bubble wrap. You might want to check with the airline with which you are flying to see if they have any specific packaging requirements to fly internationally. Honestly, I would suggest getting a paddle bag just so that you know you gear is safe.
Big Fan of Kialoa, great intro paddle

The Kialoa Pupu is the best bang for your buck for entry level paddles.
Side view of blade
Nice curves on the blade allow for easy access in and out of the water.
Best paddle I have found for the price!
This is a really nice paddle. It is easy to use. The paddle goes in and out of the water smoothly because of the curve in the blade. The shaft is not super stiff and is nice for bracing. The handle is interesting palm handle. I have one if you would like to try it out. paddlemoab.com
I absolutely Love my Kialoa Paddle! so light! yet so sturdy and strong! Everything about it is perfect!

this was $126 just the other day. What happened? I was going to buy one come payday.
It was probably on sale during the Memorial Day sale, which ended Tuesday, I believe.
I'm a sales rep for Kialoa so my opinion is very biased. I can tell you that this paddle is the lightest most durable paddle available for the money. It takes the everyday abuse that can be dished out on the rive, surf or lake. You can't go wrong. And it comes from a very cool company that I'm very proud to work for.
Good beginner paddle
I was really impressed with how light in my hand the paddle was. The grip is very comfortable and the blade catches enough water that stay moving but don't tire out from dragging it through the water.
