This is a really nice paddle. It is easy to use. The paddle goes in and out of the water smoothly because of the curve in the blade. The shaft is not super stiff and is nice for bracing. The handle is interesting palm handle. I have one if you would like to try it out. paddlemoab.com

Best paddle I have found for the price!

It was probably on sale during the Memorial Day sale, which ended Tuesday, I believe.

I'm a sales rep for Kialoa so my opinion is very biased. I can tell you that this paddle is the lightest most durable paddle available for the money. It takes the everyday abuse that can be dished out on the rive, surf or lake. You can't go wrong. And it comes from a very cool company that I'm very proud to work for.

I'm 5'7" tall, 130 lbs, female - what size paddle would you suggest?

I was really impressed with how light in my hand the paddle was. The grip is very comfortable and the blade catches enough water that stay moving but don't tire out from dragging it through the water.
