Like the oval shaft, the superlight blade of the Pipes is made entirely of carbon fiber, so it nearly pops itself out of the water and has an epoxy tip for increased durability. A ten-degree bend is ideal for quick starts and aggressive turns, and the comfortable oval shaft provides moderate flex and good energy transfer.
