Get It Before Labor Day Weekend—Order With Free 2-Day*by 5pm MT 9/2/15

Description

Now, isn't that better than sitting around indoors?

It's a perfect weekend day, so stop lolling around in your jammies drinking coffee, pull on the KUHL Women's Splash Roll-Up Pant, and get outdoors. This lightweight pant with a soft, cottony feel has just enough spandex woven in so that you move easily on the trail as you begin to wake up and pick up the pace. If you start to warm up, snap tabs on the lower leg let you roll up the cuffs and secure them; this also comes in handy if you come across a mountainside stream you simply have to dip your feet into. And should you slip on a mossy rock and get a little wetter than anticipated, the Splash pant dries faster than cotton, so by the time you get back to down you're looking presentable again.

Favorite Pants!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

I picked these up for a friend and KUHL pants, in general, tend to run a bit large, and these are no exception. Even when you find the correct size, you can expect a looser fitting pant, witch also has a bit of stretch to it. She found these pants very comfortable for anything used them for. The fabric has a light stretchiness to it that allows you to fully bend and move with no bunching or binding. I wore them in the sun on a 112 degree day and I was happy with the wicking and drying nature of this fabric too. These pants seem very tough and durable, and expects to have them for a long time.

Great pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 9"

I love these pants. Bought them for my field season where I'm outside all day hiking around. They have been super comfy, durable and are stylish at the same time. Love the pockets. I wish they were a hair longer for us tall girls, but they aren't as short as some pants. Overall a great pant!

Nice pants but khaki is more like green

  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 7"
    Weight: 130 lbs
    Size Purchased: 6

I liked the fit of the pants, but I needed a true khaki color. So when the pants came they were more green than khaki so I had to return them.

Somehow I keep buyin' em...

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    Size Purchased: 12

I teach, so I constantly have pens, stamps, dry erase markers, confiscated cell phones, tardy notes, and other random stuff that I'm stuffing in my pockets. These pants give me a place to stuff it without looking like I have horrible hip tumors. They fit great, are comfortable, and look as good as a cargo pant possibly can. I love the contrasting stitching and the relaxed fit.
However, I'm now on my fourth or fifth pair, as at least two have them have ripped after less than a year of wear. Granted, I wear them hard (I usually have two or three pairs in rotation and probably wear them 4 days a week), but the fabric is problematic. That said, I keep shrugging and replacing them when they go on sale because they really fit exactly what I need.

First Kuhl purchase

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 8"
    Weight: 148 lbs
    Size Purchased: 10

Kind of cheated on this purchase as I tried them on at a local retailer so I knew my size ahead of time. The color that was available in the store wasn't to my liking so I figured out my size in the store and then ordered the color I wanted here. Don't plan on using them for actual hiking - I was just looking for a pair of pants for work (I'm an elementary school teacher). These are comfy enough to wear for a long day with the kids, yet "dressy" enough to pass the no jeans code we have. I especially like two things about them: they provide enough coverage in the rear that I don't have to worry about exposing anything when I'm bent down on the floor to work with the kids and they also make my flat rear end look a bit less flat! Nice color that goes with most everything and a good length. I'm on the tall side (5'8") and sometimes regular length pants are not quite long enough.

Great pant, but runs large

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs large

Great pant for both casual wear and hiking. Runs large if basing size off of the size chart.

not for active people

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Not very durable material, poor quality fabric, wears down very easily. I had the pants for less than a year, probably wore them for less than 20 times, but the the butt wore out and is now in tatters. I’m active, but wore them pretty lightly- mostly for camping/hiking/backpacking. Washing them a few times leads to making the fabric paper thin. I’ve had many other pairs of hiking pants that have lasted many years beyond this shoddy pair. Kuhl has an awful return policy; they wanted to give measely discount to buy another crappy pair of pants, after I’d already paid full price ($80 for a pair). My advice: stick to other more well-known brands such as Patagonia, North Face, Marmot, Arcteryx and Mountain Hardwear that despite their pricey-ness will stick with their product and have a much better return policy.

Sizing change

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 5"
    Weight: 145 lbs
    Size Purchased: 8

I had a pair of these pants that I wore for 2 years - camping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, apres ski - all seasons! For years, Kuhl ran small & every style fit in a size 8. I typically wear a 6. My trusty splash pants finally wore out this spring & I quickly ordered another pair. Unfortunately, after ripping the tags off & happily throwing them on, I realized that they are way too big! I will be reordering a pair soon in a size 6...

Great travel pants!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 4"
    Weight: 150 lbs
    Size Purchased: 10

I really like these pants! I bought them for a trip to Peru where we did a lot of traveling (by cars, planes, boats, foot) and they were comfortable when sitting and when moving. I especially like the side cargo pockets - they are large enough for a passport, and the pocket has a snap so I felt secure when I had to carry it with me. The fit is pretty true to size, but I notice the longer I wear them the looser they get (especially when I load up the pockets), so I usually wear these with a belt.

Not what I was expecting

  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5'
    Weight: 105 lbs
    Size Purchased: 2

These pants fit great, were very comfy, and the cargo pockets were perfect for small snacks. The problem was the fabric was ridiculously weak. Within the first 10 hours I had a huge hole in the knee and then noticed a hole forming at a grommet on one of the back pockets. So they are great if you aren't going to actually play hard in them but I was disappointed in their performance. I would expect more for a pair of pants that costs what it does and is advertised as a pant to be used in the outdoors.

The BEST pants! Perfect for any activity and the greatest features are that they roll up & are stretchy. I have 2 pairs. Size 4. Fit is great. I always get complements on these and 5 friends now own them :)

I looked at sizing info, but when they came they were huge on me, had to return

My favorite pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I now have 3 pair of these pants in different colors. They are great. Comfortable fit, easy to wash and dry, lots of pockets. Great travel pants. I usually wear a size 4 but those were a little tight in the thighs, so I find the 6 is better for me. They fit great and look Kuhl.

Wonderful hiking pants

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I love these pants. They have so many pockets which make them wonderful for hiking or fishing and keeping small things easily accessible. They seem quite long, but I always keep the cuffs rolled up so they hit just above my ankle. I have the size 2 and typically wear a 25 or 26 in jeans to give a sense of fit. I'm 5'2". The pants fit perfectly aside from the length.

Excellent travel and hiking pant

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I recently completed a 12 day road trip from KY to MT and these pants worked amazing for both car travel and day hiking. The pants are extremely durable, stain resistant and comfortable. They held up to 18+ hours in the car with multiple stops/short hikes in between. The ability to wear the pant as either capri style or full length was helpful when changing climates throughout the day (hot and muggy in KY and cool and dry WY/MT).

The only con that comes to mind is that they are a little to baggy in the legs for hiking long distances. There is too much fabric in the legs which creates a prime environment for rubbing/chaffing.

Other than that one negative, these pants are amazing and I would recommend them to any outdoor woman. Get a pair and get out and enjoy all that nature has to offer.

Great pants but short inseam

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I love these pants but wish they came in a longer size. I'm 5'10" and sometimes a 32 inch inseam works, but these pants were way too short for some reason.

good fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

they're a flattering cut and i love all the pockets! they're comfy but for hot summer days they don't breathe too well, it gets a bit warm. They do, however, have snaps in the pant leg to keep them in place if you decide to roll them up.

Cozy!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are super flattering! I typically wear a size 4 but was able to get a size 2 and they fit perfect. I'll use them for hiking and climbing. Love them and can't wait!

durable after 2 yrs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I love these pants. I've put them through a lot -- countless hikes, rock climbing trips, and general running around. They have never let me down -- they are rugged. I bought them 2 years ago and they now are starting to show some signs of wear at the knees (small holes forming at the seams) but I like the fit and will probably wear them for a long time until they finally fall apart.

They are comfortable but good looking -- fitted but not too tight, yet not overly baggy. The ample pockets are very useful.

My waist size is 25" and I'm 5'4". The size 2 has fit me well (but it's slightly loose so it's helpful to have a belt if I'm bouldering).

The carbon color is a nice dark gray and hides dirt, chalk, and other grime relatively well.
