May just wear only KÜHLs from now on!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 8"
    Weight: 165 lbs
    Size Purchased: 32 x 32

This is my second pair and style of KÜHL pants. Purchased some Rydrs for summer motorcycling and love 'em. I'm just as pleased with these Revolvrs and they are fantastically comfortable. I love they way they fit and look too. I'll pick up a few more pair over time and make them my do everything pants!

Casual comfort plus!

Casual comfort plus!

A great pair of pants that you put on and forget about. Much better than forgetting to put on pants. Lightweight yet rugged, they move when you move and seem to shed light dirt and dust easily. Some really nice detailing in the design and leg pocket. I can see wearing these pants in hot summer and cool temps. Hell, I'd even lean up against a barn in them.

Nice comfy pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 5' 9"
    Weight: 165 lbs
    Size Purchased: 32/30

I really like these. The fabric is a really nice light weight, but not so light that they're uncomfortable in cooler weather. The fit is really casual and they make for a great pair of pants for active pursuits or doing stuff around the house. Their baggier cut makes them a little less than ideal for a night out on the town (they seem super casual), but they excel everywhere else.

Good fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

needs more belt loops. 2 on the side would be better.

Great quality product

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Extremely versatile and durable, this product will last.
It fits and is perfect for when the temps start to drop.
Perfect for hiking / climbing / outdoor use - and has great range of motion.

The snap button waist is the only drawback I know of.

Great pair of trowsers!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These get high marks for durability and comfort but the snap button isn't ideal. My brother is 6'0" and thin and wears the 30"x30".

Sizing

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These pants are great but I can't figure out why backcountry has almost every size except for 35x32 in all the Kuhl pants. Is this a size that will ever be available? I just ordered a pair of these pants as a gift and will have to send them back because the 36x32's are too big.

Responded on

I bought a pair of 34/34 pants. Too small. Unfortunately I took the tags off before I tried them on. Any tall skinny guys looking for a nice pair of pants? :-).....

Cool Kuhl Pants!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

Great pair of pants. I guess they run a bit large…I wear a 32x32, and had to get the 31x32. Love the fit. I dislike the snap button, come on guys, build for reliability. Pending the life of the button, I will order more of these.

My husband's favorite pants.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I got these for my husband and he LOVES them. They are comfy and they look great. He got a 33x32 and they fit perfect. He is 5'11" and thin. We bought another pair shortly after getting these.

Great pants.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

These things are awesome! They're light weight, relatively quick drying and super roomy. The crotch gusset combined with the larger cut thigh region makes them great for hiking, scrambling and climbing.

Awesome pants!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large

For being mostly cotton, I was pleasantly surprised with the weight of these pants. Much lighter than my other cotton climbing pants! The blend of materials is a perfect combination of ruggedness and low weight.
Not sure if the extra flap on the fly is really necessary, but the pants are well thought out and fit pretty nice as well. Articulation on the knee is great combined with the crotch gusset really improves the range of motion.
Great pair of pants for biking or climbing when the temperature starts to get a little cooler.

My new uniform

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

These pants are the perfect combo of nylon (to make them tough) and cotton (to make them comfortable). I would wear them all the time if I could (a bit hot in the summer due to their thickness). The best thing about them is that they are very roomy in the upper legs, I have big quads so I need that extra room when climbing or scrambling, and these are perfect for it. They also look pretty good wearing them around town. They are tough, I slid down a rock face on my butt and the fabric didn't even fray noticeably, even after a 25 foot slide! Sizing is a tiny bit large but by design so you can move freely.

Awesome Pants!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

So, I wear these pants almost everyday. My wife suspects they may be more loved then her although, I try to reassure her that is not the case. They Probably need to be washed soon.

Just about as good as it gets

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

FINALLY - found a pair of 34 length Kuhl's here on BC.com, with a little research and help from a gear-tech - but it can be done.

I'm 6'6'' tall but 32 / 34 (waist/inseam) fits me perfectly and these are just perfect on an exceptionally tall odd shaped guy, so I say they are true to size.

These are slightly lighter than my 1st / original pair of Kuhls, so a bit more spring / summer wear with slightly less thin but very durable material. Mostly I don't get off the beaten path with these, yet anyway, so they are most for kickin' around town or casual uses. They are stylish, but very well built and I'll eventually start trashing them in the woods & mountains by fall perhaps.

My only beef with these pants is that I am not a fan of snap-button waist vs. a real button or very strong snap-button. These snaps are just a bit weak and they tend to wear out after a while, tho so far - not on this pair. Thats hugely frustrating (and means you need a belt to prevent the snap from opening up. The standard jean button we all grew up with is just fine - I think - so Kuhl: bag that open-hole snap and go back to the real thing (or similar) that works.

Sizing way off

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I liked the pants, but the 34X34 wasn't even close to the correct sizing. They were at least an inch short. Returned. This is the second return for Kuhl for sizing issues. I think I am done with them.

Solid Pants

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are great all around. I think they could be too much for hot weather, but I have yet to test that. I just purchased them a couple weeks ago, and their first big test was a climbing/camping trip to City of Rocks. They held up to the granite without showing any wear. I never had to worry about them restricting movement while climbing. In fact, I didn't even think about how well they fit until I got home. They were also comfortable enough to lounge around the campfire. All in all, a solid pair of pants that will take a beating and keep you comfortable in the process.

Yikes! The zipper won't stay up!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These are really nice looking pants but if you're not careful they may show a little too much off. Ahem...ladies, my face is up here.

Seriously, had them for about 6 months and the zipper falling down became a chronic problem. I returned them for the same pair so I'll give an update in a few months or so. I love Kuhl products so I'm really hoping that was just a bad pair and not a problem with all of them.

Awesome! 5 stars no doubt!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These pants are the best ones I own. I have had one pair for around 2 years and have recently purchased another 2 pairs. I live in N/VA and can run these for around 6 months of the year comfortably.
They are well made, strong, have good pockets and remain as they were out of the box after 2 years of beating and washing. From memory I was a little unhappy with the colors, as they had 3 very similar to black, but no grey. Or something like that? Anyway, I love these and will wear them forever.
On a separate note. I ordered my recent two pairs with the assistance of the online chat feature and was very impressed with the service. Well done Backcountry. Not only do you offer the service, but it is helpful with personable assistants.
