The Kelty Yellowstone 2 Footprint is a coated nylon tarp placed underneath your Kelty Yellowstone 2 tent to protect its floor from abrasion and wear. A bit smaller than the tent floor, the Yellowstone 2 Footprint is the perfect size to prevent pooling water during rainy weather.

I have only used my tent for a few weeks in the last 2 months...but from what I read, the footprint adds years of life and service to your tent. I saw it as a good investment for my tent, something I want to last.

I recently made a weekend trip up to Meiss Country near Tahoe. We chose a campsite right on a lake, but it wasn't cleared out very well. There were lots of tiny pebbles and jagged rocks below my footprint. It definitely protected my tent...
I give it a 5 because I can't find any problems with it. Works as described...

I have always used a tarp under my tents (camping since 60's. The footprint made for my Kelty tent is great. Makes things so much easier when setting up, taking down and packing.
