Kety's site just says there are ice axe loops http://www.kelty.com/p-10-slider-65.aspx !!!!! I bet he is using the ice axe loops as well as his yankee ingenuity.

Kelty Slider Review

Great pack, very comfortable, carries heavy loads very well. Hiked 4 miles with 4000 ft of vertical 3000 up last 1000 ft down in 3/4 of mile most of it in very rough rocky terrain with a 50+ lbs load and did the reverse to get back. All in 90 degree heat. Pack stayed cool and comfortable. Didn't have any sore spots. Easy to adjust to fit.

Is there a way so you can clip both hoods down at the same time?

Is there a way so you can clip both hoods down at the same time? Or is it one or the other? Also where would be the best location for your tent.

Thanks

Yes you can clip them down at the same time. Best place for your tent would probably be horizontal on the bottom side of the pack, lashed to the two gear loops. Or you could lash it to the front of the pack with any of the six gear loop holes as well.

Great Backpack

By:
January 25, 2010

Had backpack for a year. Very comfortable, plenty of room, rides nicely on the hips. Only problem I have had is the waistband clip - fairly cheap clip and having tough time finding replacement to match color and style. Overall I am very pleased with the backpack.

It means it has a place to stow a water reservoir/bladder. There's a tube that connects to the bladder which allows you to drink on the move. Cuts out needing to deal with water bottles for the most part. Although the bladder is not included with this pack you can always buy one seperately. Not sure what the max size is that will work with this pack though.
