Kelty Redtail Backpack - Women's - 1600cu in - 2009 BCS

When I looked at the specs for this bag, it looked like it was the right for me. However, when I got it a few days later, I soon discovered it's more than just "right"; it's awesome. The storage capacity is great, the laptop/bladder pocket is exactly what I was looking for and the two mesh pockets on the sides are big enough to hold large backpacking water bottles. Needless to say, I'm impressed. Kudos to Kelty- you guys got this one right.

I dig this pack because it's not too big and not too small, it's just right. I tend to fill the space if it's there so this size allows me room but also doesn't get very heavy. Great to take to the store, hike or ride my bike. I put my hydration pack and use it to mountain bike and hike, it's nice not to have so many different packs around, this is my go to*

I bought this pack for
day hikes and its working out pretty good. It holds a 2L bladder perfectly and you still have plenty of space for snacks,rain gear,sandals, and whatever else you might choose to carry. It takes a while to find the right harness adjustment though.
