Summertime, and the livin' is eeeeazy in the Kelty Recliner.

Whether you're car-camping for Memorial Day weekend, or grillin' up some brats in your backyard, the Kelty Recliner brings Lay-Z Boy comfort to the outdoors. A locking adjustable frame lays you back when you've had too many cream sodas, and picks you right back up when it's time to watch the extreme badminton match. A padded headrest and lower-back support make the days even lazier, and a durable steel frame easily supports your partius maximus.

Best Outdoor Lounge Chair

Took this gem to the lake for some relaxing... amazing! Whether around the camp fire, by the water or use as backyard chair this product is super versatile and extremely comfortable. Beside being comfy, fantastic features are beverage holder, bottle opener AND the lever on the side that keeps the chair reclined. It's a bit spendy but it will definitely last you years of use. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars... it is a bit of a beast to haul around but as long as you are not bringing it to base camp, it's perfect!

what makes this better that a 40-60 dollar recliner????

Responded on

good question! other than it being very comfortable, but to me, it's not worth that.

Responded on

Not sure where you are finding a $40-60 recliner as this is priced right inline with all of the competitors.

The reason this one as well as LaFuma, Eureka etc. cost as much as they do is the quality of material and manufacturing that goes into them.

Basically they last more than one weekend of camping.

Does this chair have backpack straps for carrying when it's folded up? If not, does it transport easily/comfortably? I use these when fishing, and I often have to walk a long ways...especially when fishing off the pier at the beach, as I just walk from home...which is about a half mile. thanks

Responded on

It does not, and its 21 pounds to boot. So good luck carrying that under your arm for a half mile with all your tackle and rod... But you could easily rig up a couple straps to this thing to make it backpack-like. I am always a fan of modification's and add-ons.

Why buy patio specific furniture??

When they're not on our latest trip to Moab or Fruita, two of these bad boys live on the deck in my back yard. The perfect marriage of camp furniture and portable patio furniture. I may have to get a couple more because they are always the first chairs occupied when we're hanging out. Keep the cooler of cold ones close by because this chair also has a bottle opener. These are bulit to last with a bomber steel frame. I highly recommend this chair, unless you don't want your guests to over stay their welcome!
